Where To Get The Supplies

The muffin tin I used was a great way to sort and count and I bought it for a $1 at the Dollar Tree. If you have baskets or buckets those are great sorting tools as well. Practice things like ABC’s and 123’s when they are this young, they are catching on and remembering these things even if you don’t realize it.

They are using their gross motor skills when picking up the balls with their full hands and moving their arms to place it in the muffin tin. They are also using their eyes to see the different colors and matching the balls to the colors in the muffin tin develops great eye-hand coordination as well.
