All kids love play-doh am I right? Adding some small touches we created some Christmas Play-Doh today. This recipe is by far my favorite and the easiest to make. Using only a few ingredients you’ll have the most fun with your children and celebrate the holidays while doing it. I have another great salt dough recipe that’s taste-safe as well!
How Do I Make Christmas Play-Doh
We all know toddlers L O V E to stick everything and anything in their mouths. There are tons of ways to make activities safe for babies and toddlers and if you search for ideas on places like Pinterest, I guarantee you’ll find more! Today’s activity consists of just a few ingredients
- Water
- Flour
- Salt
- Cream Of Tar-tar
- Food Coloring
- Cinnamon

I used a stainless steel Christmas cookie cutter set and mini Christmas themed dough rollers in this activity. You can find these materials both at Walmart!

Ingredients + Directions For Christmas Play-Doh
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup Flour
- 2 tablespoons Cream of Tar-tar
- 1/2 cup of Salt
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon (optional)
- Food Coloring (optional)
- 1 Cup Boiling Water
Directions
- Add Dry Ingredients together
- Add food coloring to water and bring to a boil (you can do this in the microwave)
- Slowly add water to dry ingredients
- Knead dough until desired texture
