On The Road 3 Part Cards

If you’re looking to expand on your child’s language development at home try using these “On The Road” 3-Part Cards. I use these with my 2 and 3-year-old weekly and it’s a great matching game as well! These 3 part cards are a fun way to learn and keeps them more engaged and excited to learn. These 3 part cards are most commonly used in the Montessori method of learning that we like to implement in our homeschool curriculum weekly.

How To Make Your Own 3 Part Cards

If you’re interested in how I made them, all I used was my account with Canva.com. It’s been my favorite tool to create so many things and I love all that there is a free account option as well. I designed some cards and used their library of free photos available to add the pictures of the vehicles. I saved the template for them and I make a copy and change the pictures to add more themed language 3 part cards. Once I printed the cards out I cut and laminated them so we can use them over and over again!

Where To Find Vehicle Figures

The vehicle figures used in this activity are from Safari LTD. There TOOBS are so awesome and they are a good size for smaller hands. There are so many choices between people, places, animals, bugs, and even instruments, and tools. We plan to collect them all because they are such a hit in our home and an enjoyable tool for learning.

How To Use 3 Part Cards In Activities

There are many ways to use these 3 part cards in activities and the most basic way is to match the pictures and words together. For younger toddlers, you may just match the pictures together and leave the words until the next year. If you have some matching toy vehicles in your home, you can match the object to the picture or use the Safari LTD “On The Road” TOOBS to match the pictures.
